'i won't change take me as you find me'
harem pilots - charliewhat the press thinks
As Harem Pilots take to the stage there was a sense of anticipation, when they start the musical aggression & energy from the band burst through the dam & swept me along with it, struggling to control my desire to jump up & down, a punch in the nuts for musical apathy. Harem Pilots drew me into their world. Forget the comparisons with other bands of their genre and go see them before they fly away, out of the pubs and the small venues. 'Yesterday's show was a mutant monster. Harem Pilots played three spine tingling acoustic tracks. It was Suck My Sound's first ever 'real room' sesh! Phil, Leigh and Dave from the band, created absolute shandygaff mayhem. We got them back by setting them to work on new jingles for the show (the Pilots already provide our Golden Manc Oldie theme).' - suckmysound.org

My favourite song was Charlie. It reminded me of Muse. Are you allowed to say things like that, or is it insulting? See you on MTV Nederland! - Rebecca Morrin

They hit their stride with "Icarus" the strong riffs were impressive, and continued onto the next track, the Daily Mail irritating, "Cunts". Some impressive guitar solos, and a delighful crescendo ending, there is a good rapport between the band and the audience - Tom Roberts
